Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Ran without a watch just by feel. Jackie had her watch. When she told me what our 3rd mile split was I let it affect me. I felt fine the first 3 miles but the last two were hard but we kept pace very consistent! Super Happy!!!

Splits 6:57, 6:57, 6:53. 6:57, 6:49 (a little down hill) 

We have been doing our tempos around 7:15-7:10.

So now are we supposed to try all of our tempos at this pace since we did it today?

Ran with Jackie at 2:30 in the afternoon. We drove home from Sacramento today. You would think since I live in CA it would be a short drive but.... 7 hours!!! Isn't that I little weird we live in the same state as my in-laws but it takes that long to get to their house? 

This run was HORRIBLE!!!!

We ran Masters and I let it get the better of me today. I made it up half way then started walking. About 30 seconds into my walk I made myself turn around and go back to where I started walking and run to the top. I sorta redeemed myself but still a little bugged I gave in in the first place.

My legs were on fire the entire run and my heart couldn't beat fast enough today. Really windy too.

3.5 mile WU... 5x800's with 400 recovery. I always walk these recoveries. Is that wrong?

Didn't pay close attention to watch ran by feel. SUPER happy with the consistency.

For .05 of the 800 we are running down hill so I figure I need to add 3 seconds to each repeat to make the time a bit more accurate.

RAGNAR 

My first leg was in the heat and it was my least favorite of the 3. It was 5.7 AP 7:25 Killed 17

My second leg was 8.1..... found out the hard way that I shouldn't use Immodium. I was running to the bathroom so much during our off time I thought I needed to do something about it. The Immodium helped me not run to the bathroom but I spent the first two miles of my second leg running hunched over. I am sure I looked ridiculous. Got passed by a lot of people in the first two miles but ended up passing them all back. :) What? I am NOT competitive:) AP 7:57 Killed 19

In between legs 2 and 3 we went to a friends mom house and showered and layed down for about 45 min. We had to be back to meet our men's van at 3 AM.

LEG 3 

I was super nervous about this leg...... it was my longest and I hadn't slept in over 24 hours.

It ended up being perfect. I started running around 5 AM. I took it easy and enjoyed my music. My stomach was still a bit of a problem but the kinks worked out after a couple miles again.
