8 Total Marathons Short-Term Running Goals: Perfect my diet to run better, stonger and faster! Long-Term Running Goals: Run 3:15 marathon. Personal: I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

So here it is.... I am EXPECTING my 4th child. I am 11 weeks and due in November. I have been suffering through the last 5 weeks trying to run but I am not doing so well. I am nauseous 90% of my life right now. I can not drag myself out of bed to run in the mornings and when I run at night I have heartburn like crazy. When I do run my pace is dog slow and feels almost pointless to even keep trying.
It is killing me seeing everyone else train and get ready for spring and summer races. I am Jealous. I know it is stupid to be Jealous but November is feeling like and eternity away.
So all you mom's out there... HELP!
What do I do?
I am super excited to have this baby and finish our family but it is hard to adjust to a new life. |

On TM. Then lower body weights.
I read a few articles on Runners world.com that helped me to not feel so wimpy. I think the thing that got me thinking the most is that "when you get pregnant your running changes over-night!" I for sure feel that way and it helps to know others do to.

6 With Monica. Upper body weights. Felt really good this morning.
Now that I have changed my relationship and attitude with running I am not so frustrated I can not run like I could before I was pregnant.
Blessing: Landscapers'... they are working on my back yard right now!! I can't wait to have a fun place for my kids to play! |
