I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Blessing :

Matt 16:26

"For what is a man profited if he sahll gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

This scripture helps me to keep my life in check with what really matters.

Very appropriate for those of us that dedicate too much time to running.

I like the scripture you posted today. :o) I think Mosiah 4:27 is a good one.

"And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength. And again, it is expedient that he should be diligent, that thereby he might win the prize; therefore, all things must be done in order."

Burt,

I was thinking I need to stop thinking about how I can lose 5 lbs. It is taking over my thoughts :)

Amber,

You are too funny.. I just folded 5 loads of laundry that have been sitting in my laundry room for the last 4 days. Just in time to do 5 more loads :) I have yet to get the laundry put away.

Camille,

That is such a great scripture too. I think it is great in helping us remember it is good for us to take care of our bodies like all of us here are striving to do but do it in the right spirit and order.

Have a great day Friends!!!
