Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Went to the gym. I have a trial membership this week. Not really sure if I want to stay.

20 min Elliptical

10 min row machine (this was really fun I want to get one for home)

lower body weights

Ran one mile

lower body toning

It was nice to do a little something different but I kind of did feel like a fish out of water. It took some bribing to get my 2 year old to stay at the day care. He thought when I said we were going to the gym he would be working out with me. He even brought his own towel. He works out with mom and dad at home so I am sure he figured that's what he would be doing when I said we were going to the gym. I don't know if the hassle of getting to the gym with a two yr old is worth it when I have gym equiptment at home, which I do use regularly. HMMM?

Blessing.... Knowing there is a God. Life would seem pretty meaningless and hard with out him.

As I mentioned before - my kids are not a fan of gymming. I have to go super early or after my hubby gets home. I too feel out of the loop with all the various "stuff" to do. Do you have a friend to go with? I have a friend who teaches at the gym and she showed me a few things. I do like the classes - lots of variety! Good luck!

I love reading your blessings! It such a positive way to think, , , thanks for the boost!

I hear you about the daycare at the gym. My kids have gone a few times, but I try to go early in the morning before they wake up because it is such a hassle to take them. SO cute that your 2 yr old brought a towel though, , , , , sounds like he'll be pumpin his own iron before you know it!!! :)

I'm sorry it was a hassle, but do have to say I thought it was cute that your two year old that he was going to be working out with you and brought his own towel. I love that age. (and sometimes, I hate that age... depends on the hour of the day! lol)

Tbarlow,

I don't know your first name, sorry! I decided to not join the gym after all. It is just to easy to get my workouts in at home. Too much of a hassle to take my little one. Thankfully I live in a climate that permits me to exercise outside all year long.

Amber,

I am loving reading about all your miles. I want to be you when I grow up!

Camille,

It's be a long time. How are you?
