Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Ran at a pace that is normally easy for me, felt really hard!!

I am not looking forward to my race on Sat. I really don't think I will be able to pull off a 1:40 with my lack of good training the last 3-4 weeks.

NO snow is fabulous!! I am a little nervous about july and August though. I think in CA and AZ those must be the TM months

good luck on Sat!

Yes, summer running in Arizona is awful. You just have to know when to go out and when to stay in.

Thanks for the well wishes for my race! I am going into it with the attitude of having fun! I will pull the best time I can but am affraid it won't be a PR. I guess they all can't be PR's.
