Tempo this morning. I am getting better at running by feel. Didn't pay attention to watch till last mile. I felt strong for the first 5 and had to think about the last mile. I am really pleased with how this workout went. Expectation was low going into the workout because I have been sick. Exceeded my expectation. Splits 6:55, 6:55, 6:48, 6:55, 7:00, 7:01 Wish 3rd split was 6:55 then maybe my last two could have been under 7 too. My route is completely flat except for a .15 up and then .15 down. Running a down hill half on June 1st. Would love to break 1:30 hoping it won't be too difficult to do. |
