Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Tried new pair of shorts today. They are really cute and I wanted to wear them for the marathon but they are not comfortable. Good thing I tried them out before M day. I felt good today. I have not been using my inhaler because I really haven't felt a need for it. I can't decide wether I will use is on M day. We averaged 8:45 mpm, pretty good for taking it easy.

6xhills. We cheated today. We didn't do a warm up or cool down. We just busted out our hills so we could climb back in bed before our kids woke up.

Only 4 today!! Is taper time hard for anyone else? I felt really good today and could have kept on going. I am trying to stick to my Hal Higdon program but it is hard not to do the high mileage. I don't mind not having to wake up so early but I miss longer weekly runs.

The last mile coming to my house is up hill the whole way we usually run it in 8:20 today we ran 7:51. Yeah!!!!

Averaged 7:41 mpm.
