Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Don't you just hate that when your alarm doesn't go off??? Dang it.

I am guessing water retention, since your seem surprised and have been good. I am taking the weekend off and focusing on Monday, I am such a bad girl, this week being sick has messed me up and I am up again. I am the eternal yo-yo queen!

We will run a few miles on the Parkway for you!!!

Britta, I think you should pick one day during the week and just weigh yourself once a week. It is easier that way. So pick a day, do it as soon as you get up, and things will be more accurate. PLUS, you are tiny, so you are fine.

I have found that running makes the body wig out weight wise sometimes. Like, I gain about 5-6 pounds after a good, hard race. It has top be water. I did read an article that talked about women, running, and weight and how hard it is to keep it all in check. when you run hard, your body feels like it is starving so it holds on to everything for a few days.

Blah, blah, blah, you know all of this! You are BEAUTIFUL, you are eating right, so do not stress! Easier said then don, I know, but those few pounds that appeared for no reason will be gone just as fast as they arrived.

Kelli, So funny that your advice is right in line with my thoughts. All day yesterday after I was so mad about my weight I was thinking I should just weigh myself one day a week. Mostly because I am coming obsessed with the scale. I will have to pick a day. Thanks for your words of wisdom.

Miss you!!!

I actually like to weigh myself daily. You just have to take each data point with a grain of salt. Size is much more relevant than weight anyway, so if the pants you want to be loose in are loose, you're good. BTW, I was 133 when I ran my 3:00:42 at St. G, so its not such a bad weight.
