Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Treadmill miles. Fortunatley and Unfortunatley my hip always feels so much better on the Treadmill. I prefer to run outside but today wasn't too bad. I took a water break every 2 miles or so, so that broke up the monotany. Plus Braveheart was on TV and that is a kick butt show to run to.

I was really happy to get 9 in today. I wanted to make it to 20 miles this week. Next week I will shoot for 22-25. I hope to gradually get my miles back up between 35 and 40.

Hip pain 1/10 Ran between 6.6 and 7.0.

I am so glad that your hip is letting you run at all :) The treadmill is very hard! Hang tough. I watched 50 First Dates :) You've got to distract yourself! Good luck with the miles :)

Britta--I'm sorry to hear about your move, but it sounds like a great opportunity. I spent a summer in Newport Beach several years ago and really enjoyed it, so I think you're going to have a great time in SoCal. I love running there everytime we go on a vacation there.

Great job on the treadmill!! I am glad it feels good to you and that you can keep going for that long!
