I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

PACE RUN with Renae down by the beach. It felt really good today. I was worried because I haven't done a pace run in a while but it almost felt easy.

Splits 9:15, 8:12, 7:58, 8:04, 7:57, 7:51, 9:12

Maybe the PM went to your junk mail, yours did and I just by chance happen to look there. Anyway, I knew what your weight gain was all about, I was just rambling on about the dreaded weight issue, so you didn't miss much. Let's keep each other up on our little weight loss journey and we will have a great running season!! I wish I was running on the beach, I woke up to 3 inches of snow today!!! I am so DONE with winter!!!

I am glad you got my note, thank you for the tips, that tunnel vision is perfect. I have been there. About 4 years ago I was on a diet and I told myself, I have complete control over what goes in my mouth, I will not allow social events or lunch dates or anything stop me from eating right. I lost 15 pounds, and it was from eating right all day every day until I reached my goal. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts, I could do more speed work, but I just hate to breath hard and hurt! I am such a baby!!!! It will be fun to see us reach our goals! I am very optimistic!!!
