Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Met Renae at the River bed and ran 6 miles into Newport Beach. She is great!!!!

I need some moral support so I am going to do something that I think is pretty brave and stupid. I am going to start posting my weight on my blog. I have been eating so bad since the move and I need to get myself back on track. I want to get back down to 125-127 so I need you all to keep an eye on me.

I am also going to post my food for the day on the following day. So don't let me give up. Okay?!

I need everyone's help to keep me honest!!!

I am a little embarrased to post my weight because I have gained a few lbs. since SGM 08'.

131.6 lbs.  AM

Let me start by saying, how much I love reading your blog. I think I am living my running days vicariously through you!! When I am out running I envision the beach, the ocean, bikers, runners, pretending to be you!! Not really, but sometimes its really fun to think about. 2nd, I admire you for posting your weight and let me say that it makes me feel a lot better because I am not a girl, nor will I ever be a girl who will weigh 110 pounds. I have gained weight too and I have no excuse for it!! And, I am starting to feel it in my clothes, in my stomach, etc. It's very hard to deal with. I would love to get down to 120-125, but it seems like those last 5 pounds can be the hardest. I will keep checking in with you and you check in with me, deal?? I may muster the courage to post my weight on here soon, but I know if I have someone to report to, it will motivate me. Thanks for letting me infringe on your ideas here!! Let's keep in touch!! Signing off from Utah :)

Kellies,

I will for sure check in on you. It is so hard some times. I have for sure been having a hard time keeping it under control lately. I keep thinking all day that I have to post my weight tomorrow morning so I have been very good today. I hope this is what I need to help me get back to where I was.

I will check in on you tomorrow. Have a great day!!!

Britta - I think we are all struggling with the weight gain issue. For most of us - it will soon be summer and I think the warmer weather will help. You are probably dealing with stress from the move too - and that is an added factor.

Hang in there.

Okay girl, I am going to check on you! We will watch you slowly disapear before our very eyes!!! Hey, really, if I weighed what you weighed, I would shout it from the roof tops! But I realize we all have our own personal goals and I am supporting you 100%!! Good luck, you will get alot of encouragement from all of us!!!!!

You are so cute!!! AND I love that we weigh about the same. Except I'm shorter so you should feel great! I hope things are going well for you. I'm so happy you are finding some running buddies.
