I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

I thought I should explain my new blog name... My husbands company is transferring us to Orange County. We will be moving the end of February. When the offer first came I was not too excited but I have really gotten excited about the move over the last two weeks. His office will be in Irvine so we are looking at moving to Mission Veijo.

My only wish is that I could take everyone with us. I am so looking forward to the running weather their year round I just hope I will be able to find great running friends. That's why I need you all to come with us!!!

This is a great opportunity and compliment to my husband. He has worked so hard and been succesful with JP Morgan Chase. His company purchased WAMU a few months back and they do not have Jonathan's division. So JP Morgan has asked Jonathan to go to Cali. and start his division in Orange County. He will be building his team of 8 or so from the ground up so he will be very busy this coming year.

We will live close to Huntington beach and Disney Land so we will fill our time away from Jonathan their.

After todays run I am totally jealous. At least you won't have to compete with the cruddy weather. Your asthma will probably do better in the humidity. Although, we will all miss you:(

Oh Britta, I am so sad for us but so excited for you.

Get this, my hubby just asked me if I would be willing to move to Southern Cal. I am thinking about doing some additional schooling and he asked me to apply to some of the schools in that area. So maybe, just maybe, we will hook up there for some runs.

Yes, the all year running season sounds heavenly right now. I am very excited for you.

What schooling are you thinking of doing? I am actually looking to start school after I move. I was going to start this Jan. and then the move blind sided us. I am would like to be a dietician. I was going to do BYU's program but now I will have to find a program near me in Cali.

I would so love if you moved near me.

Are you running with the Chumps tomorrow?

From Teena on Fri, Jan 02, 2009 at 23:53:30

Hey Britta,

I'm actually just finishing up my history degree at the U right now (what a win they had tonight, yahoo). There is another program that I am considering. I haven't told many yet because I am not positive about it at this point. However, this evening I researched the Southern Cal schools with this specific program and only USC's program is ranked in the nation's top 20. Unfortunately, the tuition for this program at USC is 40K a year with available scholarships only up to 10K (it's a 3 year program)!! Man alive!! I'm not sure that is a viable option right now.

With it being as cold as it is going to be in the morning (which causes problems with my asthma) I am planning on running at the gym with one of the Chumps (that is, if I can get up at 5:45). If not, I will see what the weather is like later, and then decide whether to run on the JRP or at the gym.

What is your plan for tomorrow?

Mission Viejo is beautiful!!! That is where Scott's family lives (there and Laguna Hills). We are so visiting when we make it to Disneyland in 2009!

I am glad that you are excited about it now! That will make it so much easier. And after this cruddy running weather, who wouldn't be excited????
