Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

I really don't actually know what the rest of the miles categories mean on my blog (except marathon pace) so I just keep putting all my miles in as EASY. Could someone please tell me what they mean?

Anyway, PM miles in home gym with hubby. He did weights while I ran. That always makes running on the treadmill go by faster when he is there with me. Plus he is so darn cute in his tank top.

Hip pain 4/10 Yikes!! Not good tonight. We shall see how it feels tomorrow with the BBK's.

Nice miles! I am sorry about the hip :(

Take care of that hip. Can you reach the area and massage it at all?

From Britta on Tue, Jan 13, 2009 at 14:16:34

Britta, I'm no expert, but my rule of thumb is Threshold Miles fall in between 10K and 1/2 Marathon Pace (hard but sustainable tempo runs)... V02 Max Miles would be like 5K pace and faster (i.e. interval training, track work, etc)

oops... that last comment was from me

Cal,

I was trying to figure out when I got so smart!!!

Thanks for the info. Do you know how to change the categories to track your miles? For example I may not want to be that technical.

Britta - you need to forward your request to Sasha in a PM and he can do it.
