Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

I found a great street with lots of hills. I know it is crazy but I have missed the Herriman hills. I had a great run today and also found a great park with a trail. I think the trail was about 1.25 miles around. I ran that twice. The park was also well populated so I felt safe running on my own.

Blessing for the day...

Home Videos. Last night I watched a video of my 2 year old when he was 1 and learning to walk. It helped me to remember what a blessing he is while I am dealing with the tantrums and public embarrasment.

I love your daily blessings, I might have to steal your idea someday. I am glad you are finding fun, SAFE places to run. Enjoy your California life and that little 2 year old!!!

I like the positive vibes you are giving off with your 'Blessing(s) for the day'. Keep up your spirits and your good running.

It is indeed crazy that you are missing the hills! Way to go on those splits! I ran with Alisa Wednesday. She is very nice. I talked her ear off, so we will see if she ever wants to run with me again!
