Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

I am exhausted from moving again this week. We moved to a bit of a more permanent place. At least for the next 6 months. That is how long our lease is for and then hopefully we will be buying a home at the end of the 6 months.

I still don't feel great today and the stress of moving this week has practically put me over the edge.

I am not really excited about my marathon and I am having a hard time finding motivation to train. Someone please encourage me.

I am hoping these last two weeks were just off weeks for me and that I will be back to my old running self soon.

Britta - you probably need a down week or so to destress. Try some different cardio for a couple of days or a week and see if that helps.

Maybe get a massage and see if that helps you feel better. You have had a lot of changes on your plate the last few months and might be suffering a bit of depression.

Hang in there!

Moving is not easy task, give yourself a little break!!! Do you at least have your own furniture now??

When is the BIG marathon?

Britta, I totally fall apart when I move. It is A LOT of work and stress. You are doing great and this too shall pass:) When are you coming to SLC?

Thanks ladies for your words of wisdom. My marathon is on memorial day the end of may.

I am coming to Salt Lake this weekend and week. So I hope to see the BBK's this coming week.

Maureen, I think I am for sure a bit depressed, I am not my normal self lately. Everything feels like a big deal when it really shouldn't be. I need to relax.
