Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Scott and Kelli picked me up this morning and we drove out to the Jordan River trail in Lehi. It was so freezing when we started and took a few miles to warm up.

I was so spoiled I got Kelli all to myself this morning. The 11 miles went by so fast chatting with her. Jon also came and ran with Scott. Leslie and Husband and (I know I should remember Leslie's friends name, so sorry) Leslie's friend came too.

Great run! That's a nice pace for an 11 miler. Do you know when your next race is?

From Kelli on Sat, Nov 15, 2008 at 15:57:38

Aw, shucks!! You are so nice to me! Like I said, I am SO GLAD you came otherwise I would have stayed in bed today. I love that trail and Jon sent me the GPS map of our run and I bet we were like less than a quarter of a mile away from the lake! We almost made it.

THANKS for getting up early and spending 3 hours with us! I know that is kind of a pain that an 11 mile run takes up that much time with driving and chatting after (and a little getting lost). I am all for a close run next week. Speaking of which, what are your plans? I am on my own next Saturday because Scott has to do tithing settlements starting at 7 am!!

Have a good day, I am gonna get my report in and go get that nap!

Good run Britta. It was nice to chat with you and Kelli/Scott at the end.

Kelsey,

My next planned race is a 5k on Thanksgiving. Just for fun. After that my next race that is planned is not until April. How about you?

Kelli,

I have not made plans for next Sat. yet. Let's run around 7:30 or 8:00. How do you feel about 12 miles?

I hope you got your nap! I really had fun with you guys this morning. Thanks for letting me tag along.

Teena,

You were for sure missed! Soon, I can feel it!!!!! Have a good Sunday.

Jon,

You guys did great today too. I couldn't help but try to keep up with you guys when you were in sight. Thanks for the Sweeds. I love love love them!

Have a good week.

12 sounds good. I am going to get in to the DR to double check the knee and I will just take Friday off again so I can make it Saturday.

I got a little nap, but I am just not a good napper. I need silence, and that never happens at this house!

Are you planning on running at all with the group this week? LMK if there is a day you are going and we can carpool. If not, have fun with your friend and watch out for Mountain Lions. Maybe one day I will come with you guys and get that extra 15 minutes of sleep!

Have a good night and a restful Sunday.

I am not sure about the BBK this week. I will have to see what my friends schedule is. I really want to come though. We are running tomorrow AM if you want to come. We are going 7 miles.

Tnanks for the invite. I did not see it until NOW, so a little too late! We would love it if you came, but I totally agree with not leaving your friend behind!!
