I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Ran with a fun blogger group in Lehi! I ran with Teena for 8 of the 10 miles. Ran with Kelli the last two. Teena was so sweet today while I struggled. We ran on the Jordan River Park Way and all the plants and pollen or whatever it was was really getting to me. My asthma was acting up majorily.

It was a good reminder to start taking my daily meds again. I think I just get lazy and forget to take them. I am not really sure what my problem is.

Also, note to self, don't forget to take toilet paper!!!! hehehe. So imbarrasing!!!!!!!

I had to get home so I had to hurry and take off as soon as I got back to my car. I was so bumbed I couldn't hang out and get to know a few of you more.

Pace 8:27

What did your Garmin say teena?

I am so sorry the air was bad fro you. I could smell the stuff, and was thinking my mom would be dying! Glad you made it ok :) It was so great to meet you in person! :D

From Kelli on Sat, Nov 01, 2008 at 14:11:58

That is an awesome pace for someone who was struggling, Britta! Imagine how fast you will be when you start taking your meds, and you NEED to do that!

It was fun to meet you! I wish you could have stayed to visit, but next time! Check out my blog later today and hopefully Maurine will have a group picture posted

Hey there Britta!!

I am so sorry that you were having asthma issues. If you weren't I probably wouldn't have been able to keep up with you! Seriously. You're a tough cookie.

Anyway, I absolutely loved running with you. Sorry that no one would answer that door we were banging on ... but all worked out!! :)

Hope you got home on time. And I'm excited that you are going to be joining us for the Saturday runs.

Good run Britta, sounds like you had potty break issues. I wondered if that would be a problem for anyone. Sorry to hear that it was.

From britta on Sat, Nov 01, 2008 at 16:55:18

I truly could only discuss my potty issues with runners. Non-runners would just think I was gross!

It was so nice to meet everyone this morning.

Glad to meet you - if only for a few minutes. Sorry to hear the asthma was bothering you.

From Smooth on Sun, Nov 02, 2008 at 15:30:41

Britta!!! Those weeds were bad especially after the rain. I'm sorry about your asthma. I had toilet paper with me. Too bad I am not as FAST as you (even in your asthmatic condition).

I am GLAD I got to meet you in person, even though it was very brief. Next time!!!

From Teena on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 10:41:04

Britta,

Are you going to run Painters?

From britta on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 16:06:55

Smooth, Thanks! It was really nice to meet you too. Teena talks so great about that I can't wait to get to know you more.

Teena,

I am not running Painters. Is that this weekend? Is it in St.George?

From Teena on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 16:42:44

Painters is on January 17th!! Come run it! (It's in St. George.)

From marion on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 16:44:31

Britta- If Mr Teena is not coming, we've got an extra apple!

From britta on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 19:54:18

Marion,

Your comment totally made me life mostly because I don't know what it means. I am still laughing.. I am a little silly. An extra apple???

From Kelli on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 20:25:51

Britta left early on Saturday, she does not know about our apples.

From marion on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 20:28:50

Britta- Kelli will explain the apples to you on your run tomorrow ;) You really want an apple :)
