Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Ran on the treadmill tonight. It was kind of nice because my husband and I got to workout together. He usually works out during luch but didn't today so we got to spend time in our gym together.

I did a Jillian Micheals circuit workout after. It kicked my butt I couldn't even finish it. My abs feel really tight though. YEAH!!!!

I need to work on toning my "problem areas" so I am going to focus on that and running for awhile.

I am also focusing on eating as little processed food as possible.

So I am going to do something I have seen a few men do but not women. I am going to track my weight on this blog. SCARY!! Women do not like to tell there weight. I am hoping it will help me be a little more accountable for the things I eat each day.

I have actually dropped a few lbs. since the marathon. Strange since I have been eating terrible. I typically weigh somwhere between 127-130 lbs. I would like to weigh somwhere between 120-123 lbs.

Averaged 8:00 min miles.

Weight 125 lbs.

Weight: 0.00

You are awesome!! What gym do you workout at? I should probably hit some of the classes that concentrate on the core -- I can do most of the exercise fairly well, but those stupid sit-ups kill me!! Weird!

Also, I have found that since I have stayed clear of processed food (for the most part) that it has helped my asthma. Hopefully you'll notice that positive side of it as well.

Have a great day!! Laters.

Great work out! My eating goals are the same as yours, but I am terrible at eating healthy. The surprising thing is that since the marathon, I have craved healthy food.

Great ab workout! My abs have died! Your goals are GREAT and you are SO awesome to post your weight! How tall are you?

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 13:27:18

MichelleL posts her weight daily, too. BUT NOT ME!!! For crying out loud, please tell me you are 5 feet tall! You are a tiny thing!!!

Way to work out hard, Jillian is mean. I am afraid I would cry if I did even a video of hers. She does kick butt!

Good luck with your new goals, I am sure you will do great.

Teena,

We built a gym in our basement. I workout there. I use to go to LIFETIME. I loved it but it was just too much of a drive and my baby would cry almost the whole time so I never got to finish my workouts.

I am excited to hear your asthma improved with your eating habits. Do you use any medications?

I do not have any races planned for the near future. I am planning on doing the Salt lake half in April and then the Grand Slam this spring and summer.

If anyone is planning on doing any races locally let me know I would love to have something to look forward to.

Jody,

I love sugar. So I am not very good at eating healthy either. These past two days I have done really well though.

Marion,

I am 5'5. I have a complex because my sisters are 5'11 and 6'1 and they are all legs and no butt. I am the opposite. Although, I got the workout/running gene so I wouldn't trade them.

Kelli,

We did not end up playing volleyball. We went to dinner in two seperate groups and the group with all the equiptment took forever so we stopped waiting for them.

Hope you are doing good.

Let's do start a Herriman running group. Maybe we could get the South Jordan group to tell us what workouts they are planning and copy them.

Good idea---or we can make up our own!

From marion on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 14:10:16

I am the tall sister in my family and I am the one with the complex. :) The sister stuff is SO complicated :)

I am sure there will be many FRB'r there. After our Making Strides Breast Cancer run on Saturday, FRB now stands for fast running boobs! :)

From britta on Tue, Oct 14, 2008 at 15:01:20

I am not sure I will fit in with the FRB's. I don't have ANY!!

That is another thing my sisters got that I didn't! HA HA!

That's OK- EVERYONE is welcome on our team! There are teams called, "Save Second Base" and "Save the Ta-ta's" I personally love the "Hakuna Ma Ta Ta's"

Britta --

Unfortunatly I am on asthma meds. I am trying to phase out of them, but the cold weather has caused a flare-up and I'm back on them again. I use advair in the morning and night, and a couple of puffs of ventolin before a hard run.
