Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Felt fine. The next few weeks before taper are feeling daunting. :( I am tired and feeling like the workouts are going to be hard to complete well.

Why do I keep putting all my miles in easy. They are supposed to be Easy pace but they still feel hard.

Workout was 3.5, 2.5, 1.5 with half mile rest in between each. Start at MP drop to HMP

3.5 splits 7:27, 7:25, 7:07, (.5) 3.34

2.5 splits 7:28, 7:20, (.5) 3:33

1.5 splits 7:11, (.5) 3:33

We walked each half mile recovery. Probably should have jogged them but we enjoyed the rest and the chatting.

I really need to get my diet under control for SGM. When I am running this much it is hard to not eat stuff that is just easy to grab. Need to remind myself an apple or greek yogurt is just as easy to grab as a a handful of crackers.

Felt really great!!

Started out slow and naturally picked up the pace as we moved along. Ran with Jackie and Ana. SGM is getting so close!!! I'm nervous-excited!
