8 Total Marathons Short-Term Running Goals: Perfect my diet to run better, stonger and faster! Long-Term Running Goals: Run 3:15 marathon. Personal: I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

HELP!!!! I didn't get into SGM What do I do???!!! I am so SAD!!!
Took the last few days off. Just wanted to. I haven't taken a break since my baby was born 18 months ago and I started running just two weeks after she was born so I figured I was due for a break. I enjyoyed it!
Ran with Jackie tonight. It was great to catch up.

Mile repeats tonight. Haven't done them in a while and haven't done 4 forever. We were shooting for a relatively easy pace at 6:49. Previously we have run them in the 20's.
Splits 6:29, 6:35, 6:39, 6:49
Need to figure out how to slow down at the begining and speed up at the end. I wish those splits were switched around. |

Felt good
Was shooting for 7:24 average. Wish I could figure out how to run them all within seconds of each other. I feel like they are a bit all over the place.

Jackie and I ran 5x800's this morning. Felt pretty good. I was super happy our times were so consistent. We were shooting for 3:15 and did slightly better.
