Trying to call this day a victory cause I listened to my body instead of doing my planned workout.
Was planning on doing 4x1600 @ 6:40 pace. Did the first one and felt terrible and almost puked. I haven't bailed on a workout for a long time so I feel like a failure but I keep trying to remind myself I listened to my body and my body was saying "NOT TODAY"!
Jackie and I ran easy and just put the miles in but we both had a hard time just doing that!
Blessing: Our new swimming pool. It was just finished a few weeks ago and with it being over 100 this week we are loving it. It has a super fun rock slide built into our hill. It is fast! |
