Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

.5 mile warm up and .75 cool down. Should have done atleast a mile warm up.

Ran with a couple women from my ward. It was really nice to run with someone.

Ran some good hills. I am really excited to be able to run hills again to help with my endurance.

Found out there will be a few men from my ward running the Irvine half. I am motivated again to run it myself. I want to see how many of them I can BEAT!!!

Blessing: Being a stay at home.. I am very blessed to be at home with my kids. I Need to remind myself of this when they are driving me CRAZY!!

Hills Hills Hills!!! I feel like I am back in Herriman. I am loving it. Our new area has Mountains and Palm trees. Love it!!!!

My legs are hammered. I am not use to running hills, seeing that I have been living a mile from the beach the last 8 months.

I am excited to strengthen my legs with the added hill work.

I got a little lost. I only meant to do 7 miles but ended up with 7.5. I guess an extra half is not that lost.

AP: 9:19 not too bad with all the hills.

Took a 15 min. ice bath right after returning from my run.

Blessing: My new secenery outside... It truly is gorgeous running through the palm trees and enjoying the mountains!

Again, were not all easy but too lazy to break it up.

15 min warm up easy, and 10 min cool down

20 min tempo

TM Incline 1.5 worked up to 2 min at 8.3

Felt really good!

I still need to get into a pulmonologist (sp?) My lungs are a bit tight.

Blessing.: CORONA, CA... We got some negative feedback when we would tell people in Orange County that we were moving here. All of those worries have been layed to rest. We LOVE our new area. It is exactly the type of community we wanted to raise our family in.

Easy half mile warm up and cool down.

 3 miles at 7:19 pace on TM. Used a conversion chart. Felt pretty good. My husband was doing weights while I ran and he kept encouraging me.

I made it I am done and know I have a day of rest before starting another week.

Late PM run with husband. So funnn!!! We traveled to Sacramento yesterday and went running after we put the kids down. My husband is fast so he slowed down and I sped up so we could run together.

I wish we could run together everday. Maybe when our kids get older.....

Blessing: The good the bad and the ugly... feeling very blessed today. Nobody's life is perfect but if you take a step back you realize life is great. Even more than the good times, the bad and the ugly times make us who we are. The bad helps us to appreciate the good and it teaches us to rely on the Lord. We didn't get here on our own and we aren't getting back on our own either.

Blessing: "The Blind Side".. this is one of those movies that changes you. My husband and I saw it over th weekend and it is a must see. Seriously gets you thinking about what else you can do!
