He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

My husbnads schedule is all over the place with his new job and one of my running partners husbands is now teaching early morning seminary. It is getting difficult to find time to run together.

Pilates.. I really like it. It relaxes me. I have been really sore from Mondays pilates workout. Every time I pick up my baby and put her on my hip I am reminded that muscles I didn't know I had got worked.

Blessing: My 4 yr old did pilates with my today and when we were done he pointed at his bicep and said "Mom, look my muscles got bigger. " If it were only that easy to get into shape. :)

My husband had to leave for work at 6:15 so my AWESOME running partners got up at 4:30 to run with me!!!

It was nice to be out with no one on the road and have it be a tiny bit cooler

When we ran Monday we ran past a DEAD BODY and didn't even know it!!!! Later that morning I was going to run errands and drove along one of the streets we ran that morning and there were cop cars all over the place and they were putting up crime scene yellow tape. It wasn't that far off the road either so I am guessing if it was light we might have been the ones to discover it. Thank goodness it was Dark!!! Later that day on the news we heard about the body and me and my running friends were FREAKING out!!!

Ran with Ana and Jackie.

I love that 16 feels easy! We ran up up and up. We wanted to have the last 3 miles be down. Because of where we live we are super stong up hill but now we are feeling nervous about all the down at the end of SGM. You all no how hard down can feel at the end of a marathon. We are going to be focusing on down hill from now till the marathon.

Our new slogan... You have to go up to come down! ( we did decide it could be in-appropriate, especially in Burt's mind! We did not mean it that way. :)

4x1600 repeats.

6:55, 7:03, 7:23 (big up hill), 7:09

I wish the repeats would have all been within 5 sec. of each other I did the first two too fast and that ruined me for the rest of the workout.

It's DONE and it was AWESOME! I chewed it up and spit it out!

Seriously one of the best training runs I have had for that distance.

My last mile split time was 8:06!!!

It was super hot today. 75 at 5 AM and when we finished it was over 90. We hydrated really well and we ran a trail with lots of trees so we had lots of shade.

SO HAPPY!

Tempo run this morning. I put them in Threshold miles... I think that is where they belong.

Was supposed to Average 7:47 and I averaged that exactly. I am happy I hit my overall average but dissapointed my splits were not more consistent around 7:47.

7:44, 7:59, 7:55, 7:44, 7:51, 7:41, 7:42, 7:33

Ana taught me how to make Brazilian rice and Beans in my pressure cooker. I can't wait for dinner! My kitchen smells so GOOD!
