8 Total Marathons Short-Term Running Goals: Perfect my diet to run better, stonger and faster! Long-Term Running Goals: Run 3:15 marathon. Personal: I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

My 7 yr. old son ran his first 5k today. I ran with him. He did great
He ran 38 min and some odd seconds.
My husband did the 10k and ran 41:31. He got 2nd in his age group. |

Easy with Renae this morning. It was really fun to chat it up we laughed a lot!
We came up on a policeman just sitting in his car and Renae yelled BOO in his window and made him jump. Really funny! Then he got on his speaker phone and made a few comments as we went along our way. |

I ran a really fun race today in a team of 4. It was myself, my husband, my friend Renae and my husbands friend Jim.
Their were barriers we had to jump over, tires we ran through, mud we crawled in, rivers we waded through, sand we crawled through and a mud pit to roll in to finish it off. It was AWESOME!!!! We had so much fun.
This year was this particular races first year running. There were some kinks that come along with the first year of a race mainly the belated start time due to the 5k runners were not done yet.
All in all super fun and I will be washing dirt and rocks out of my hair for the next few days.
I wore an old pair of running shoes and just through them away afterwards. |

Nap Time: Jillian Micheals 30 day shred DVD x2. It is only a 20 min. Video so did it twice.
PM: 3 Treadmill miles
6.5 warm up, 7.0 with 6 incline for .25 then .25 recovery repeat 3x., 6.8 cool down.

AM: "No more trouble zones" DVD AWESOME!! This is one of the best workout DVD's I have ever come across. My abs are getting super strong and I cant wait to see what that does for my running.
Afternoon: 3 mile walk to and from beach. I took the kids down to the beach today and we decided to walk. Going down was great, coming back not so fun. The kids were tired.
PM: 3 miles. They weren't all easy but not sure how to break it up.
2min @ 3.0, 1min 6.5, 7.0, 7.5,8.0 (repeated 5x), 1min 9.0, Walked for cool down to equal 3 miles.
