He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Day 1: Jillian Michaels "Making the Cut"

AM: Workout Day 1 from her book. Finished each circuit once. It felt good. I got a little light head after doing Burpies. Drank a full bottle of water through out workout.

Wish me luck with following the diet today. Why is that always so much more difficult than exercising?

I will report my PM workout and my food intake tonight.

45 min. of running Lots of stairs. Right after dinner, not a good idea Calories 1400 super clean no processed food. Water 75 oz. Need atleast 80.

Day 2: Jillian Michaels "Making the Cut"

AM: Slept through my alarm this morning. DARN! Had to settle for a 4 mile walk pushing a stroller. I don't have a jogger or I would have run. It was nice to walk along the beach with my two year old. He loved it. We saw lots of dogs and he blew kisses to each of them.

PM: Day 2, 5 Circuit workout. I really like these workouts. They are challenging and they have a little bit of everything, so never boring.

Ran 1.4 with my 7 year. So these were REALLY SLOW miles but nonetheless.. miles.

Food Intake: Another great day. 1390 calories. I ate lots of berries today. They are so yummy!!

Day 3: "Making the Cut"

Today is an off day for weights so just one workout for the day. 5 painfully slow miles. I am not yet recoverd. My muscles are so weak and tired. I had fun chatting with Renae this morning.

Ate a few to many calories today... 1550 not bad but still I need to stick to the 1400.

I also did not stay up on my water intake. I think that is why I was starving all day long.

Recommiting to drinking enough water tomorrow.

Day 4: Making the Cut

AM--3.7 miles on the treadmill. Pushed for 4 min recovered for 2 min. Did this for 40 min. My legs are still a bit sore from all the squats I did on Monday. I need to focus on getting enough water today. I didn't do so hot on that yesterday. I am already noticing a difference in my body! Little, but still the work is starting to show.

PM: Circuit workout day 4. .3 miles of sprints thrown in there. I felt good today. This is the same workout from Monday and it felt a little easier today.

Day 8: Making the cut

Feeling good and sticking with the program. The weekend was a bit different with the diet and having fast sunday but still going strong.

AM: 7 miles with a new friend, Valerie. It was fun. I don't know the pace. I didn't bring my watch. Finally felt recovered today.

PM: Circuit workout. I did not want to do it . It was late. Did it anyway!Yeah for me.

Calories 1600 about 150 more than I should but not much so I am okay with it.

Day 9: "Making the Cut"

Ran with Valerie again today. She is super speedy but humors me and runs at my pace.

I am trying not to be bumbed about the program I am doing. I have really only lost 1lb. I just expected to be loosing more weight by drastically cutting my calories. I am fitting into my clothes better but I really just wanted to see the progress on the scale. By the end of tomorrow I will be a third of the way done and I will see the whole program through. I guess we are not all made to be 110 lbs.

Circuit weights 9 PM. Tuff workout and it felt great!

Day 11: "Making the cut"

Late night weights. I did each ciruit twice because of no running today. I figured out that only a week after the marathon I started running and I ran 9 out of 10 days after that. So I am goint to take it easy on running and focus on weights for the remainder of the program. I will still be running just not everyday.

Lost another lb. I am down about 3 lbs. I guess that is not so bad for 11 days.

I have also been eating just a few more calories than 1400. I think that is better for me. She does have you cut so low down in order to accomplish your goals in 30 days. But I really didn't take into account she only has you working out 4 days a week and only asks you to do 1 hour of working out on those 4 days. So I was exercising way too much for 1400 calories.

I feel like I have found a happy medium.

Day 12: Making the cut

Early AM workout. I did each circuit just once. I wanted to do them twice but my husband was gone surfing this morning and my children woke up before I could get to the second round. O well, everyday can't be perfect. I am planning on running 8-10 tomorrow so I am hoping that will take care of a few extra calories that I hoped to burn today.

Day 15: Making the Cut

I did the circuits twice today. She upped the intensity of the exercises today. They were tough but I am TOUGH so I pulled through. It took just a little over an hour.

I fell of the diet wagon Fri. and Sat. I got myself back on track on Sun. Trying not to be frustrated with myself because we all know where that leads!!!

I have always been good at keeping up on exercise but eating healthy is a challenge. I really like how I feel when I eat right. So I will keep "fighting for it".

I am off to DISNEYLAND today!!!!! Have a great day all!

Still exercising and "Making the Cut" just not running many miles so I haven't been blogging.

To my few followers don't worry I am still going strong and taking care of myself. Just having fun doing other forms of exercise other than running.

Hope all your running is happy!
