I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

HI! I haven't kept up on you, so are you going to the doc about your IT band? Good luck to you! Little ones....you are a good mom!

From britta on Thu, Dec 04, 2008 at 14:23:17

Leslie--Yes, I do need to go for my IT band, this is the first time I have really had an injury in 12 years of running. It feels very foreign to me. Thanks for the words of encouragement about my mom skills. My littlest has spent the morning acting as a tornado and ripping everything apart that he touches. He also had fun with some vaseline!!!!!! This is exactly why I run. I can still keep my cool when my children so busy!

Camille-- Thank you, how are you? I need to check your blog.

Oh, Sorry!!!!

Thanks for your response to my e-mail. We missed you this morning, now I know why you weren't there. Good luck with that IT band. Running injuries--they're such a pain!
