Personal:

I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

Yes miracles do happen!!! I actually got up at 6 am and ran today.. so I guess you can say that is 2 miracles for me today.

Favorite part of the run... I saw a plump little boy taking his dog out for a walk to use the potty. The dog was more than twice his size and I can just imagine the conversation leading up to this act... "Billy take the dog out"  "Mom I don't want to, it is still dark outside." "Billy you said you wanted this dog so he is your responsibility."

My level of running is sad but I went.

Blessing: My running shorts still fit after weeks of eating whatever I want and not really exercising. They were tight but.. they still fit!

burt,

thanks for being excited that I am back.. or are you as excited as I am that my shorts still fit?

that is pretty miraculous, but mostly because you're back. let me know when you take them off if the seams are stretched.
